Freight Car
On June 12, 2009 we took delivery of a 50' B&M box car that was placed on the spur track next to the freight shed. The car was originally purchased by the B&M in 1956 as part of an order of 1000 car numbered #77000-77999. Its number was changed in 1979 to reflect specific assignments. After it went out of service it sat on a siding in the Concord, NH railroad yard and was used as a sign for Capital Plumbing who donated it to the Society in 2007. The car needs a new coat of paint and will be used for storage of large items of farm equipment that will eventually be displayed in the freight house museum.
